A PVE air-driven home elevator with its panoramic polycarbonate cabin, shown in a home setting.
Every floor of your home, open to everyone again.
Your stairs should not decide which rooms your family can use in your Hyderabad home.
When you built or bought your home in Hyderabad, the stairs were nothing to think about. Now a parent may sleep downstairs to avoid them. Someone may be healing after a hip or knee surgery. Or you may simply want to stay in the house you love for many more years. A home elevator lets each person reach every floor on their own, at their own pace.
PVE designs and manufactures air-driven home elevators with patented pneumatic technology. Air pressure lifts the cabin, and gravity helps it come down. Because the elevator is self-supporting, it carries its own weight and rests on your existing floor. Standard installations need no pit, no hoistway and no separate machine room.
For your family, that means a short, tidy job instead of months of construction. Your rooms keep their layout, you stay at home during the work, and the round, open cabin looks like a planned part of the house. Whether your home stands today or is still a drawing, we can help you see if it fits.
The cleanest home elevator on the market.
The elevator needs no oil and no heavy machine room, and it runs on single-phase household power. If you would like to lean on the sun, a solar panel package is available as an option.
- 01Air lifts you up
A vacuum pump at the top of the unit changes the air pressure and the cab rises.
- 02Gravity brings you down
Air is let back in and the cab descends. No oils, hydraulic fluid or lubricants.
- 03Runs on household current
Low power draw, so it works alongside the solar arrays many homes now have.
The most sustainable home elevator available. Anywhere.
- Pneumatic technology
- No shaft, pit or machine room
- Installed in 2 to 3 days
- Panoramic design
- Three sizes and a square
Four models. One for every home.
If your stairs leave only a small corner free, the PVE30 is the compact choice for one rider. Couples who like to ride together often pick the PVE37 or The Cube, with The Cube made for two- and three-story homes. If someone in your family uses a wheelchair, the PVE52 is the model to start with.

Safe, simple and made to be seen.
Here is what an air-driven elevator means for your home in Hyderabad, from the first day of work to the years of use that follow.
No pit, no shaft
Standard installs need no pit, no hoistway and no separate machine room. For a house that is already built and lived in, that means far less breaking and building. Your floors and walls stay largely as they are, apart from a neat opening at each stop.
A calm ride down in a power cut
If the electricity stops while someone is riding, the cabin comes down slowly to the lowest floor and the door unlocks. No one waits inside for help. That matters most for a parent who rides alone during the day.
An open, panoramic cabin
The round cabin gives a 360 degree view as you ride. Light passes through it, so it does not block a room or make a hallway feel closed in. It looks like a planned part of your home, not an add-on.
A short install
Once site prep is complete, fitting the elevator typically takes 2 to 3 days. Your family stays at home, the work stays in one corner, and you can be riding between floors soon after the job begins.
Low maintenance, no oils
The elevator uses no harmful oils, gases or lubricants, so there is nothing to leak onto your floors. It is low maintenance, with an inspection at least every 6 months that your authorized dealer schedules with you.
Proven since 2002
PVE has designed and manufactured air-driven home elevators since 2002. Each one is assembled in the USA and factory-tested in Miami, Florida, and our dealers are trained at the Miami facility before they install a single unit.

What homeowners say.
Real words from families who added a PVE elevator to the home they love.
We are not age-limited with the elevator. At any age, it's like living on a single floor. We've been here 5 years and it's never needed anything. The elevator has been flawless.
My house was built in 1925 and it was hard to get something to fit in with the décor of my home, but the PVE fit in perfectly. I am thrilled with the design, engineering, and reliability of the elevator by PVE.
It turns a 2-story into a ranch concept! It's for the ease & access but also for the resale. I think the investment is worth it!
What happens during installation?
Your installation plan should cover the work before the elevator arrives as well as assembly and testing.
- Review the home
Confirm the layout, the people using the elevator and the levels it needs to serve.
- Confirm the model and location
Check dimensions, landing access and the requirements for the selected configuration.
- Prepare the site
Complete the agreed structural and electrical work and arrange the required permits and inspections.
- Install and hand over
Assemble and test the elevator, complete required approvals, and explain operation and ongoing care.
Timing depends on site preparation, the selected model and local requirements.

Questions from Hyderabad homeowners.
Is my house a good fit for an air-driven elevator?
In many cases, yes, if your home has two or more floors, level floors and room for a neat opening or a landing at each stop. Many independent houses, duplexes and villas meet those needs, but every home is different. That is why a dealer visits first. They look at your stairs, your floors and your power supply, then tell you honestly whether it fits and where it would sit best.
Is there paperwork we should sort out in Hyderabad before we order?
It is wise to check, yes. Depending on your home, your local authority or your housing society may want to know before you cut openings in your floors. We do not guess at the rules, because they can differ from one home to the next. Your dealer can walk you through what is usually asked for and give you the elevator details you may need to share. Checking early keeps your plans on track.
Can we keep living at home while it is being put in?
Yes, most families stay at home the whole time. The elevator needs no pit and no shaft, so there is no heavy building in your rooms. Once the openings are made, the floor is level and the power point is ready, fitting the elevator typically takes 2 to 3 days. You may want to keep that corner clear and plan around some noise during the opening work, but daily life goes on.
Does it come down on its own if the power fails?
Yes. If the electricity stops while someone is riding, the cabin comes down slowly and steadily to the lowest floor, and the door unlocks so they can step out. Nobody has to call for help or do anything to make this happen. For a parent who rides alone, that gives the whole family peace of mind. We also recommend a voltage stabilizer to keep the supply to your elevator steady.
Which model lets a wheelchair roll straight in?
The PVE52 is the one to choose. It is our only model marketed as wheelchair accessible, with the widest door and the most room inside. Wheelchairs come in many sizes, though, so not every chair will fit, and the PVE52 is not ADA compliant. The best step is to ride a PVE52 at an authorized dealer with your own chair before you order. Your dealer can help you arrange that.
Why might our quote differ from a neighbour's?
Because no two homes need the same work. The model you pick, the number of floors it serves and the preparation your house needs all change the price. One home may only need a neat opening in each floor. Another may need a floor leveled, a balcony landing built or a new power point. A free quote after a look at your home gives you the price for your own project, with no guessing.
Who keeps it running well after it is installed?
Your authorized PVE dealer does. Every dealer is trained at our Miami facility and handles the install, the check-ups and any help you need later. The elevator is low maintenance and uses no oils, but it should be inspected at least every 6 months. Your dealer sets up that schedule with you, so you know when to expect a visit and who to call when you have a question.
Will it look out of place in our living room?
No, for most homes it becomes a feature of the room. The round cabin is open to view on all sides, so light passes through and the space still feels open. You can choose a frame colour that suits your walls, from white to dark gray. You can place it where guests will see it instead of hiding it away. Your dealer can show you photos and colours during the free visit.
Built for the way Hyderabad lives.
- Homes it suits
- Independent houses, duplexes and villas over two or more floors
- What your home needs
- A level floor, single-phase power and an opening or landing at each stop
- Install time
- Typically 2 to 3 days once site prep is complete
- Your next step
- A free visit to look at your home
Many family homes in a large city like Hyderabad are built upward rather than outward. You may live in an independent house, a duplex or a villa, with the kitchen and living room below and the bedrooms above. Often there is a terrace or a top-floor room that gets used less each year. A home elevator brings all of those floors back into daily use for everyone in the house.
The first question is where it will go. Because the elevator stands on its own, it does not need a shaft built around it. In many homes it sits in the curve of a stairwell, in a corner of the living room, or against a wall where a cabinet stands today. It can rise through a neat opening cut in each floor, or it can stop at a balcony or landing built for it.
Your floor matters more than your walls. The elevator rests on the floor that is already there, so that floor must be completely level. If your tiles or stone slope a little, a small leveling job may come first. Our dealer checks this on the visit, so you know what is needed before any work is booked.
Power is the next check. The elevator runs on single-phase household power, the kind most homes already have. We strongly recommend a voltage stabilizer, which keeps the supply steady and protects the elevator. If the power goes off during a ride, the cabin comes down gently to the lowest floor and the door unlocks, so no one is left waiting inside.
No pit to dig, no shaft to build, and the install typically takes 2 to 3 days once site prep is complete.
Before the work begins, ask about permissions. Depending on your home, your local authority or your housing society may want to know about changes to your floors. Rules can differ from one home to the next, so we do not guess. Your dealer can explain what is typically asked for and give you the details about the elevator that you may need to share.
Once the floor is level, the openings are made and the power point is ready, the elevator itself goes in quickly. You stay in your home through the work. Your rooms keep their shape, the mess stays close to the openings, and the family can carry on with the day.
Think about who will ride it most. In a home where parents, children and grandchildren share the floors, the elevator lets an older parent keep their own room upstairs. After a knee or hip surgery, it lets someone move between floors without asking for help. For a family member in a wheelchair, the PVE52 is the model to start with, and riding one first is the best way to confirm the chair fits.
If you are still building, tell your architect about the elevator early. Planning the openings, the floor finish and the power point from the start keeps the job simple and the cost of changes low. Then book a free visit, so a dealer can look at your plans or your home and suggest the model that suits your family.
