Keep every floor of your Bellmore home within easy reach.
An air-driven elevator lets you stay in the home you love, without fighting the stairs.
If your Bellmore home has a second floor, the stairs shape a lot of your day. They decide where you sleep, how you carry the laundry and whether a parent can stay for the weekend. When your knees ache or you are healing from surgery, one trip upstairs can feel like a chore.
A PVE home elevator takes that chore away. It is air-driven, so it lifts you between floors with air pressure and lets gravity help on the way down. In standard installations it needs no pit, no hoistway and no separate machine room. It stands on your existing floor and rises through a neat opening in the ceiling.
That is why it suits a house you already live in. You keep your rooms, your layout and more of your budget for the parts of the project that matter to you. An authorized dealer can visit your home and show you where it would go.
The cleanest home elevator on the market.
The elevator runs on household power and uses no harmful oils or lubricants, so it stays clean and quiet in your living space. If you want to pair it with solar, a solar panel package is available as an option.
- 01Air lifts you up
A vacuum pump at the top of the unit changes the air pressure and the cab rises.
- 02Gravity brings you down
Air is let back in and the cab descends. No oils, hydraulic fluid or lubricants.
- 03Runs on household current
Low power draw, so it works alongside the solar arrays many homes now have.
The most sustainable home elevator available. Anywhere.
- Pneumatic technology
- No shaft, pit or machine room
- Installed in 2 to 3 days

Four models. One for every home.
If your corner is tight and one person will ride, the PVE30 is the place to start. The PVE37 and The Cube give room for two, which suits a couple who ride together in a two- or three-story home. If someone in your family uses a wheelchair, look first at the PVE52, the only model we market as wheelchair accessible.

Here is what a PVE elevator brings to your Bellmore home, from the first visit to the years of easy riding that follow.
No pit and no shaft
Standard installations need no pit, no hoistway and no separate machine room. The elevator is self-supporting, which means it holds itself up and rests on your existing floor. For a home you already live in, that means less digging, less dust and fewer changes to the rooms you love.
Installed in days
Once your site prep is done, installation typically takes 2 to 3 days. You do not have to move out or put your life on hold for weeks. That matters when the elevator is for someone coming home from the hospital or a parent moving in with you.
A safe ride down in an outage
If the power fails while you are riding, the cabin lowers to the lowest level at a safe speed and the door lock opens. Mechanical brakes and door interlocks at each landing add more layers of safety. You or your parent can ride alone with confidence.
A view all the way around
The panoramic design gives you a view in every direction as you ride. The cylinder is an aluminum frame with clear polycarbonate panels, so it feels open, not boxed in. Many owners place it where guests can see it, as a feature of the room. A Work of Art. Powered by Air®.
A size for every household
Choose the compact PVE30 for one rider, the PVE37 or The Cube for two, or the PVE52 for a wheelchair user and a helper. The PVE30, PVE37 and PVE52 can serve up to 50 feet of rise across as many as 5 stops.
Assembled in the USA, backed by trained dealers
Every PVE elevator is assembled in the USA and factory-tested in Miami, Florida. We have designed and manufactured air-driven elevators since 2002. Your authorized dealer, trained at our Miami facility, installs and services your elevator, so help stays close to home.
Real PVE installations.

What homeowners say.
Real words from families who added a PVE elevator to the home they love.
We are not age-limited with the elevator. At any age, it's like living on a single floor. We've been here 5 years and it's never needed anything. The elevator has been flawless.
My house was built in 1925 and it was hard to get something to fit in with the décor of my home, but the PVE fit in perfectly. I am thrilled with the design, engineering, and reliability of the elevator by PVE.
It turns a 2-story into a ranch concept! It's for the ease & access but also for the resale. I think the investment is worth it!
What happens during installation?
Your installation plan should cover the work before the elevator arrives as well as assembly and testing.
- Review the home
Confirm the layout, the people using the elevator and the levels it needs to serve.
- Confirm the model and location
Check dimensions, landing access and the requirements for the selected configuration.
- Prepare the site
Complete the agreed structural and electrical work and arrange the required permits and inspections.
- Install and hand over
Assemble and test the elevator, complete required approvals, and explain operation and ongoing care.
Timing depends on site preparation, the selected model and local requirements.

Questions Bellmore buyers ask before ordering
Will an elevator actually fit in my Bellmore house?
In many homes, yes, though a visit is the only way to know for sure. Our elevators stand on your existing floor and rise through an opening in the ceiling, so they need far less space than you might expect. A corner of a room, a spot near the stairs or a stacked pair of closets can often work. An authorized dealer will look at your floors, ceilings and power and tell you honestly what fits.
Do I need a permit in Bellmore to put one in?
Most likely, yes. Adding a home elevator is the kind of work a local building office usually wants to review, and the steps can differ from one town to the next. Your authorized dealer can explain what is typically asked for and how the paperwork fits into your timeline. Timing varies, so we never promise a date for an approval. Asking about permits at your first visit helps you plan with fewer surprises.
How torn up will my house be during the work?
Far less than most people fear. Because there is no pit to dig and no shaft to build, the main work is a neat opening in the floor above, a level spot below and a new power line from a licensed electrician. Once that prep is done, the install itself typically takes 2 to 3 days. You can usually keep living in your home the whole time, which matters if a parent is staying with you.
My dad uses a wheelchair. Is there a model he can use?
Yes, the PVE52 is the model we market as wheelchair accessible. It has the widest door and the roomiest cabin, with space for a rider and a helper. It is not ADA compliant, and not every wheelchair fits, so we ask you to confirm before you order. The best way is for your father to try a PVE52 at an authorized dealer in his own chair. That way you know it works for him.
What happens if the power goes out while I am riding?
You come down gently. If the power fails while the elevator is moving, the cabin lowers itself to the lowest level at a safe, slow speed. Then the door lock opens so you can step out on your own. Nobody has to come and get you out. For an older parent who rides alone, this is often the feature that gives the whole family peace of mind. Your dealer can show you how it works.
Can it go down to our basement too?
In many cases, yes. The PVE30, PVE37 and PVE52 can serve as many as 5 stops, so a basement, a main floor and the floors above can all be linked. The Cube serves 2 or 3 stops, which suits a two- or three-story home. Each level needs an opening lined up with the one below, enough ceiling height and a heated space. Your dealer will check your basement and the path through your home on the visit.
Who takes care of it after it is installed?
Your authorized PVE dealer does. Every dealer is trained at our Miami facility, so the people who install your elevator also know how to care for it. The elevator is low maintenance and uses no harmful oils or lubricants, but it still needs regular inspections. Your dealer sets a service schedule with you and is the one to call if you ever have a question. Ask about service at your first visit so you know what to expect.
Built for the way Bellmore lives.
- Homes it suits
- Two- and three-story houses, existing or new
- What it needs
- A level floor, a ceiling opening and a dedicated power line
- Permits
- Your dealer explains what your local office typically asks for
- Install time
- Typically 2 to 3 days after site prep
The best place to start is your own house, not a catalog. Walk through your Bellmore home and picture where an elevator could stand. Many owners find a spot in the corner of a living room, beside the stairs or in a closet that sits right below another closet. Because the elevator is self-supporting, it can fit into spaces a traditional lift could not. If you are renovating or building, now is the moment to plan for it.
Next comes the work your home needs before install day. The floor where the elevator stands must be completely level. The floor above needs a clean opening, finished a little wider than the elevator. A licensed electrician runs a dedicated power line. If your home has an open landing or a balcony, a balcony install is another choice, where the elevator meets a platform built by others.
Height matters too. Each floor needs enough room from floor to ceiling, and the top floor needs some extra space overhead for the head unit. If your top floor has a low or sloped ceiling, there are options, such as a split unit that places the machinery away from the elevator, indoors or out. Your dealer will check this on the visit and tell you which setup suits your home.
Then there is the paperwork. A home elevator is the kind of project your local building office will usually want to review, and those steps can take time. Your authorized dealer can explain what is typically required and how it fits your schedule. Plan for it early. When the permit question is answered before you order, the rest of the project tends to move more smoothly.
No pit to dig, no shaft to build: the elevator stands on the floor you already have.
Once the site is ready, the install itself is quick. It typically takes 2 to 3 days. A trained crew brings the elevator in, stands it in place and tests every stop. There is no concrete to pour and no wall to rebuild, so the rest of your house stays livable. Plan for it to sit inside the heated part of your home, since it is not meant for a cold garage or an unheated room.
Think, too, about who will ride and why. A couple who plans to age in place may want room for two. A family bringing a parent home after surgery may need the wheelchair-friendly PVE52. A busy household may just want an easier way to move laundry and groceries between floors. Knowing this before the visit helps your dealer suggest the right model the first time.
Finally, plan for the years ahead. If the power goes out while you ride, the cabin lowers itself to the lowest floor at a safe speed and the door unlocks, so no one is left stuck between floors. The elevator is low maintenance, and your dealer sets a regular service schedule with you. When you are ready, request a free consultation and we will arrange a visit to your home.
