It is not ADA compliant, and not every wheelchair fits, so ride a PVE52 at an authorized distributor with the chair you expect to use. Your dealer can help you judge the fit in your home.
Will we have to give up a room for machinery?
No, not with a standard setup. Our elevators need no separate machine room. That matters in Florida, where the building code says elevator machine rooms need their own cooling or ventilation to keep from overheating. With no machine room, there is no extra room to build or cool. If your ceiling height is tight, your dealer can talk you through other setups during the visit.
