If the power fails during a ride, the cabin comes down to the lowest floor at a safe speed and the door unlocks so you can step out. That matters in Victoria, where storms have damaged poles and wires and left many homes dark for a long time. Until the power returns, you use the stairs as you would without an elevator. Ask your dealer about a solar panel package if you want more options.
What do I need to get done in my house before you install?

The PVE52 is the one to look at, because it is our only wheelchair-accessible model. Its cabin is the roomiest we make, with space for a rider and a helper. Not every wheelchair fits, so we always suggest you try one at an authorized dealer first. Please know it is not ADA compliant. For the many carers in Victoria, that trial ride is the surest way to decide with confidence.
Do I need anyone's permission before adding an elevator in Victoria?
