WHAT MAKES PNEUMATIC VACUUM ELEVATORS UNIQUE?
For starters, Pneumatic Vacuum Elevators are the only air-driven, self-supporting, environmentally-friendly, plug and play home elevators in the world!
Unlike traditional elevators, PVE elevators are powered by the most abundant resource in the world- air!
HOW DO PNEUMATIC VACUUM ELEVATORS WORK?
Using innovative vacuum technology, air is removed from the elevator shaft, causing the atmospheric pressure to lift you up. On descent, air is drawn back into the PVE elevator shaft and gravity is used to bring you down.
They also require no pit or machine room to operate. Once installed, PVE elevators are self-contained and rest on the existing floor. No additional support or excavation of the floor is required.
While most traditional elevators require oils and lubricants to operate, PVE elevators require none, making them the only true environmentally-friendly home lifts available. With a low energy consumption and hardly any electricity used on decent, PVE elevators will have a nominal impact on the energy consumption of one’s home and environment.
Speaking of energy, PVE elevators operate on a 220v, 25-35 amp single phase power supply, similar to a standard issue washer and dryer. Once plugged into your wall, their only maintenance is once every 15,000 lifts or roughly five to seven years.
They can also be installed anywhere in your home. The unique design allows for 360 degree visibilities, and the different color options make them a wonderful addition to the interior design of the home. Often considered a conversation piece, these elevators truly are a “work of art, powered by air.”
With three different models to choose from, including one that’s wheelchair accessible, PVE elevators can accommodate any home or project and are installed in as little as one to three days. With over 9,000 units installed in over 75+ countries, they are the ideal elevator for any residential, marine or stage application.
My house was built in 1925 and it was hard to get something to fit in with the décor of my home, but the PVE fit in perfectly. I am thrilled with the design, engineering, and reliability of the vacuum elevator.
I thoroughly enjoy riding in my PVE elevator as its extremely comfortable… I would unhesitatingly, recommend it to people who are confined to a wheelchair like myself, to me it's that good and reliable!

We moved into our dream 2 story home with bedrooms on the second floor. At 60, I thought I could manage the strairs, but soon discovered the challenges were too difficult for me. The 37” diameter PVE elevator was to be my savior. Now I go up and down as I please and stairs no longer prevent me from enjoying my new home. It has been an absolute Blessing! It also looks so gorgeous that three different guests who were admiring our modern statuesque “object d’art” were stunned to discover that it is actually a working elevator! I had to demonstrate it to prove it! Two of them remarked that they wouldn’t even care if it worked (which it does). They just thought it was ultra-attractive and interesting.
