HOW DO PNEUMATIC VACUUM ELEVATORS WORK?
Using innovative vacuum technology, air is removed from the elevator shaft, causing the atmospheric pressure to lift you up. On descent, air is drawn back into the PVE elevator shaft and gravity is used to bring you down.
They also require no pit or machine room to operate. Once installed, PVE elevators are self-contained and rest on the existing floor. No additional support or excavation of the floor is required.
ECO-FRIENDLY
While most traditional elevators require oils and lubricants to operate, PVE elevators require none, making them the only true environmentally-friendly home lifts available. With a low energy consumption and hardly any electricity used on decent, PVE elevators will have a nominal impact on the energy consumption of one’s home and environment.
Speaking of energy, PVE elevators operate on a 220v, 25-35 amp single phase power supply, similar to a standard issue washer and dryer. Once plugged into your wall, their only maintenance is once every 15,000 lifts or roughly five to seven years.
They can also be installed anywhere in your home. The unique design allows for 360 degree visibilities, and the different color options make them a wonderful addition to the interior design of the home.
