Pneumatic Vacuum Elevators, LLC offers a wide range of customizations to tailor our innovative residential elevators to your home projects needs. Out of all the upgrades available for our home elevators, one customization is the variety of possible door opening configurations available for each residential elevator model.

Residential Elevators – Door Swing

While quoting our panoramic home elevators, prospective customer have the option of selecting the door swing for their residential lift by either choosing our Standard Left hand Door Swing or Custom Right Hand Door Swing.

The Standard Left Hand Door Swing is where the door, when inside the elevator cabin, swings towards the left. Our Standard Left Hand Door Swing is offered with every Vacuum Elevator purchased.

The Custom Right Hand Door Swing is a customization option available for all 3 models of our residential elevators and allows the door, when inside the cabin, to swings towards the right. As a customization, please note the Custom Right Hand Door Swing must be requested and purchased with your order with additional production time needed to manufacture your order.

Residential Elevators – Door Swing

While there are some custom possibilities to mix and match the PVE residential elevator door swings, as a rule of thumb, all levels must have the same door swing.

If you have any custom requests or questions relating to the door swing options for your home elevator, please contact PVE directly and a PVE Sales Representative will happily assist.

Residential Elevators – Door Configurations

In addition, depending on the PVE home elevator model, there are various door configuration options available for the positioning of the upper floor doors when purchasing our residential elevators.

Please Note: There is only 1 door opening available per floor so customers need to finalize the door configuration option when placing their home elevator orders.

See chart below lighting the Door Configurations options available for each of our 3 home elevator models:
