7 years ago we were building our home. We decided to look for an elevator since we wanted to eventually retire in this home with 3 floors. We live in midwest and problem we encountered was that a standard elevator required to dig into our foundation where our cables will go and unfortunately it would hit our water table. A cousin then told us about this company. The cost was less expensive than a regular elevator. But More importantly required much less room and no digging into foundation.Okay—so we have had this for 7 years now. No MAINTENANCE- we have middle model. Weight capacity of 425 or 475. Fits two people in or three little kids. We use it roughly 8 to 10 times a day. On parties kids use it as a carnival ride. EXCELLENT product. My only complaint is that it is a bit loud even though we have a remote head attachment in our attic. Sounds like a vacuum cleaner is on at every use. BUT NO REGRETS!!
This project was flawless from start to finish! The contractor who made holes in the walls and ceilings repaired them, complete with different finishes and different colors of paint, to their original states. The elevator, which blends into the middle of my house, is an asset to my property and a safety issue for me as I age.
I cannot say enough good things about PVE. From the minute we started the process they were there to answer all our questions. Especially when it came to preparing the house for the elevator. Phone calls and emails were always answered promptly. And, of course, we cannot forget the elevator itself. What an engineering marvel! They thought of everything when they designed it. You cannot go wrong with PVE. I promise!!
