If you’re one of those people who always forget to schedule a maintenance appointment for your equipment, don’t worry! Our home elevators have very few moving parts and require no lubrication. Because our elevators are so simple to design, you only need to contact us for a replacement seal every four to five years or 15,000 trips.

Space-saving solution for your home
You don’t need a large space in your home to accommodate one of our home elevators. Our elevators don’t require an equipment room, and there’s no need for a pit/well below the basement or above the top floor for these elevators. For other elevators, this additional space is required for heavy operating equipment, but PVE® home elevators bypass the need for anything other than cylinder space. This not only means a smaller footprint in your home, but also a less expensive and less messy construction project compared to a traditional home elevator.
Pack your bags and go: Self-supporting home elevators
Even if you plan to move in the future, you don’t have to leave your elevator system behind. PVE® manufactures fully enclosed elevators that are not integrated into your home’s frame. This means that stand-alone home elevators can be moved to your new home if you decide to move there in the future. You can also relocate the elevator within your current home if you remodel or add to it.
Three models of air-powered home elevators
Our air-powered home elevator line includes options for one to three adults or for a person in a wheelchair with a companion. PVE® manufactures our elevators with outside diameters ranging from a minimum of 30 inches to 52 11/16 inches. The type of elevator you choose depends on your space and your family’s needs. For standing solo passengers, the PVE® 30 will be sufficient. The PVE® 37 is a good choice if you need a little more space for two adults to ride, or the option of a folding cabin seat. And the PVE® 52 is the right solution for a wheelchair-accessible model or a spacious, luxurious home elevator.

PVE currently manufactures three versions of its air-powered residential elevators, ranging from a three-passenger, wheelchair-accessible home elevator. All PVE vacuum home elevator systems are capable of vertical lifts of up to 50 feet (15 meters) with up to five stations. The unique design of the vacuum residential elevator is an ideal choice for any retrofit or new construction project and will enhance the value of a home without the wasteful footprint of a traditional home elevator. The innovative home elevator requires no shaft, pit, or machine room prior to construction and can be installed in as little as two to three days. Using a vacuum pump to create areas of higher and lower atmospheric pressure within a cylindrical lift, the unit moves smoothly between floors while using significantly less energy than other home elevators.
