Below is a brief history of Pneumatic Vacuum Elevators evolution and achievements.
September 2002: Pneumatic Vacuum Elevators, LLC is first introduced to the elevator industry at the National Association of Elevator Contractors Convention in Las Vegas, NV.
October 2002: Following the massive response at the NAEC, Pneumatic Vacuum Elevators, LLC opens its factory in Miami, FL and begins manufacturing the first Pneumatic Vacuum Elevator, model PVE37, while developing channels of distribution. The PVE37 is a two passenger elevator available for residential, marine and stage applications.
2004: The very first Pneumatic Vacuum Elevator is sold through distribution and installed in the U.S.
2008: To meet the demand for a wheelchair accessible unit, Pneumatic Vacuum Elevators, LLC develops the PVE52, a three passenger elevator available for residential, marine and stage applications.
2010: Pneumatic Vacuum Elevators receives the American Society of Mechanical Engineers A17.7 certifications, passing all safety requirements and fire codes for a residential elevator. The PVE30, a single passenger elevator available for residential, marine and stage applications, is developed and launched giving another alternative for homeowners with minimal space.
2011: Pneumatic Vacuum Elevators, LLC moves to a brand-new, fully-integrated facility and advances their production of all three models of Pneumatic Vacuum Elevators.
2016: With over 9,000 units installed in 65+ countries, Pneumatic Vacuum Elevators has over 250 distributors worldwide selling all three models of the PVE Elevator.
